Step-by-step

How it works

Would you like to try it out by making a fitting muslin? The same measurements you make can be used for full garment patterns too. Follow this guided flow to go from designer selection to a test-fit garment without losing your place.

    RUN

Input your numbers, then generate the draft with the run button.

  4. 4

    Print the pattern

Print it out on your local desktop printer. Choose your print size. Large sizes may print as single pieces; smaller sizes may need assembly with tape.

  5. 5

    Tape pattern together

Use alignment marks and page numbers to tile pieces accurately.

  6. 6

    Cut out pattern in muslin

Use test fabric first so adjustments stay low-risk. Muslin is a low-cost fabric that does not stretch and is easy to sew, so it's perfect for test fitting

  7. 7

    Sew up garment pieces

Assemble following the sewing order for your pattern.

  8. 8

    Try on garment for fit

Check ease, balance, and comfort before final fabric.

  9. 9

Like the fit? Save your measurements

If it needs adjusting, recheck steps 3-8 with fresh measurements for an accurate refit.
